The Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S BASE-SR is a high-performance transceiver module with 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) networks. Its small form-factor pluggable (SFP+) design offers hot-swappable capability and flexibility in network deployments.
It delivers reliable connectivity over multimode fiber cables up to a distance of approximately 300 meters. This makes it ideal for short-range applications within data centers or campus environments requiring large bandwidth. The Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S supports full-duplex operation up to 10 Gbps.
Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S: The Cisco 10GBASE-SR module supports a link length of 26 meters on standard Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI)-grade multimode fiber (MMF). Using 2000 MHz* km MMF (OM3), link lengths up to 300 meters are possible. Using 4700 MHz* km MMF (OM4), link lengths up to 400 meters are possible.
