The HPE J9142B 1GB BASE-BX-D SFP transceiver is designed to provide reliable and high-performance networking for your business. With a speed of 1 Gbps, it ensures fast data transmission over long distances of up to 10km using single-mode fiber (SMF) cable.
This small form-factor pluggable (SFP) module operates on a wavelength of 1490nm for transmitting signals and receives them at the wavelength of
1310nm, allowing bidirectional communication with compatible devices. It follows IEEE standard Type-1000BASE-BX10-D specifications.
HPE J9142B: A small form-factor pluggable (SFP) GigabitBX (bi-directional) “downstream” transceiver that provides a full-duplex Gigabit solution up to 10 km on one strand of single-mode fiber. The J9142B connects to the J9143B “upstream” transceiver or to any IEEE standard 1000BASEBX10-U (“upstream”) device.
